Opening reception at The Black Diamond (Royal Danish Library)

The reception is hosted by the National Organizing Commitee and will take place at The Black Diamond. Free access to the exhibition “Blind spots. Images of the Danish West Indies colony”, which has focus on images and postcards in Danish archives and collections.

City Hall reception - Fully booked

(This function is included in conference registration fee but limited to 600 delegates)

The reception is hosted by the City Council of Copenhagen and will take place at the City Hall.

Danish National Gallery - Statens Museum for Kunst

The director of Statens Museum for Kunst, the Danish National Gallery, and the National Organizing Commitee, cordially invites the ICOM-CC delegates to a drink. Welcome speech at 18:30 followed by a presentation of the open access CATS Reference Collection database. The collections spanning 700 years of western art will be open until 20:00.

ICOM-CC Conference Dinner

(This function is NOT included in Conference Registration)

The conference dinner will be held at The National Museum of Denmark just 15 min. walking or 1,3 km from conference venue. The National Museum of Denmark is a must-see for every visitor to the city of Copenhagen. As Denmark’s most important and largest cultural and historical museum it hosts a broad variety of fascinating exhibitions. Before the dinner take the time to explore the museum with your fellow colleagues. The seated dinner menu is based on great respect for Nordic cuisine, and is inspired by Danish culinary heritage. After the dinner a DJ will open the dance floor to highlight the official dinner gathering of the conference.
